Thanks for all the great tips you guys post. We are staying at Ft Wild Cabins 11/7-11/14. Can we view any of the fireworks from the WDW free boat as it is traveling across the lake? And how can we view the Electrical Water Pageant? Thank you!

    Nicole:

    We love the fort!

And my husband's favorite pasttime is watching the fireworks from the Fort Wilderness beach!  Honestly, the best view is not from the boat, but at its beach and pier...there are lounge chairs and we love to bring a thermos of hot cocoa and a few blankets to wrap up in as we listen to the music that's piped in that accompanies the fireworks.

As for the Electrical Water Pageant, it generally floats by the pier around 9:40 p.m. at night.  But check with the front desk when you check in to make sure about the times, just in case!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
