Thanks for all the great help you give! I had been planning to take family to Capt Cook's at Poly to try tonga toast one AM, but now I hear it will be closed! Do you know whether there will be a replacement? Other fun brkfst ideas along monorail?

Hello Robin.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love answering your Disney vacation questions.

Tonga Toast is one of my favorite breakfast items at Walt Disney World, it is delicious.  Have no fear, you will still be able to try this breakfast item at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  You are correct that Captain Cook's Quick Service Dining location will be closed during your vacation, however, there will be a temporary Quick Service location set up at the Great Ceremonial House.  The Great Ceremonial House at Disney's Polynesian Resort will be serving breakfast starting at 6:30 a.m. daily.  You will be able to find the Tonga Toast at this temporary location.  Another option for trying the Tonga Toast, would be to make a reservation for breakfast at the Kona Cafe.  Kona Cafe is also located at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  In addition to the Tonga Toast, another popular breakfast item at Walt Disney World is the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes which can also be found at Kona Cafe.  If you are looking for a nice sit down breakfast, give it a try!

Have a wonderful vacation and enjoy the Tonga Toast.  Have a bite for me!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
