    Thanks for all of your great advice! Planning a trip for October and trying to decide on Contemporary or Polynesian. I've heard there's construction at Polynesian, but want the best for the kids (11, 9, 7). Which has the best waterslide and fireworks?

    Hi Jennifer!

         I have to tell you that I love both the Polynesian Resort and the Contemporary Resort.  I have stayed at both of them.  Since you have young children and are interested in the pool and water slide as well as the view of the Magic Kingdom Wishes fireworks, then I would have to recommend the Polynesian Resort for your family.  There is an amazing pool with a water slide that comes out of a huge volcano at the Polynesian Resort.  You can watch Wishes from the beach at the Polynesian Resort and see the Electrical Water Pageant from the Polynesian beach too!  I love the South Pacific theme of the Polynesian Resort and the Magic Kingdom is just a short Monorail ride away.  Please ask us Moms and Dads more questions as you plan for your October 2014 Walt Disney World vacation!
