    Thanks for all of the great advice - planning has been so fun! When should I call to make specifications for the hotel? We have 2 preffered rooms at ASMov and would like to have joining rooms on the 1st floor since we will have 2 double strollers with us.

    The sooner you make your requests the better!

    My understanding is that, although Disney doesn't guarantee specific requests, they give every effort to accommodate them. And these requests are based on when you make the reservation and request. If someone has a reservation that is older than yours, they will be given priority. So the sooner you let Disney know what you need, the better.
