hi thanks everyone for your great info! i wanted to know how long it will take us to get into magic kingdom if driving own car from POFQ? please include monorail, bag check, etc.. and keep in mind we are 4 adults with three little children in strollers.

    Hi Natalie,

Once you are in your car and on your way, I would allow about 15 minutes to arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center.  You will then need to park and then either walk or take a tram to the monorail or boat that will take you to the Magic Kingdom.  I would allow another 25-30 minutes for this depending upon what time of day you arrive at the park and crowd levels.  After you arrive at the park, you will need to clear security, swipe your tickets and start your adventure!  While it's impossible to predict with complete certainty how long the process will take from start to finish, I would allow up to an hour.

You might also consider taking a bus from Port Orleans to Magic Kingdom.  Disney transportation is reliable and efficient.  By hoping on the bus, you will skip the trip to transfer at the Transportation Center and end up directly at the park.  In my experience, taking the bus saves at least 20 minutes of travel time.  Don't worry at all about your children and strollers.  You will be in good company with other guests boarding the bus.  The drivers are very patient as all guests make their way onto the bus.

Whichever way you arrive, have a wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom!
