    Thanks Diane for your great advice! 2 more questions- Would it be insane to bring our own mini fridge to ASM? We live in Daytona so transport is no big deal. $40 to buy- $55 to rent for our stay. Also, I've read mixed reviews, is POP better than ASM??

    Hello Stacey!  Thank you so much for the sweet words.  Bringing your own mini-fridge to ASM will not be a problem at all.  It will definitely save you some money and saving on a vacation is ALWAYS a plus. So, you are not "insane", you are just brilliant planners!  The resort just asks that it is considered a "mini-fridge".  You will be just fine.  
    Your second question is tough, but I will give you my honest opinion on the matter.  Both resorts do offer the same "comfort levels".  We did not feel that their was any difference in this area.  My family does tend to favor Disney's Pop Century Resort over Disney's All Star Music Resort.  Pop Century seems to have more "candy for the eyes" around every corner.  Although both do offer very similar recreation grounds, Pop Century has 3 pools to choose from and the giant icons are very kid friendly.  My boys really enjoy all the toys that were introduced during certain decades and really get a kick out of it.  They love the over-sized Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and the giant Big Wheel.  Funny, still don't get why the Big Wheel was so cool!   Anyways, you may get different opinions, but I wanted to be honest with how I felt.  We do prefer Pop Century.
