Hey there, Zsahanna! Welcome back to planDisney. I'm honored to have you reach back out to share the great news with me that you have a holiday trip to Disneyland Resort booked!
I'm happy to share that both Disney Parks locations in the United States are operational and there were no major issues after Hurricane Ian. Walt Disney World Resort in Florida did close during the storm, but it is back open to Guests now without any concerns. At Disneyland Resort, we did not see any effects of Hurricane Ian since we are on the opposite coast in California, so all is well here too!
Now that you have your theme park tickets purchased I wanted to make sure you knew that you also need
theme park ticket reservations. If your daughter purchased them from the Disneyland website, she most likely booked the reservations at the time of your ticket purchase.
If you are wanting to make some
dining reservations, be sure to check out the calendar to see what date is 60 days out from your visit. This is when you should be able to log in and make dining reservations. Our family's favorite place for a sit-down meal is Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park.
Lastly, I want to make sure you knew about the
Disney Parks Blog. This is where all the exciting news and information for each park is announced. This will be where we most likely will see more information coming towards the end of the month about all the fun things that we will get to experience in the parks and throughout all of Disneyland Resort.
Zsahanna, thanks again for stopping by to share the news! I can't wait for you to have the most magical holiday!
Carrie
