Thanks for the Aulani PhotoPass info! One more question. Are there screen doors to the balconies at Aulani? Or just glass doors? The hotel we stayed in 2 years ago had a screen door and we loved turning off the air conditioner and letting in the ocean air.

Aloha again Kristi, glad to know you found my Aulani PhotoPass tips helpful!  So glad I could be of assistance and am happy you followed up with me again!

There are no screen doors on the balconies, but we kept our sliding door open for much of our stay and had no problems with bugs!  Since the time change caught up to us a little, we found ourselves lying in bed by about 9PM each night.  I can vividly remember hearing the relaxing sounds of the live Hawaiian music from below making their way into our room each evening because we left our patio door open. Being lulled to sleep by traditional "Hawaiian lullabies" gives such a great, calming feeling and I'll never forget it!

I also want to add that each room has a ceiling fan!  We enjoyed sleeping with the ceiling fan on and the door open.  The fresh Hawaiian air, ocean breezes coupled with the sounds of crashing waves make for a perfect sleeping environment!  Man, how I am missing those moments right now!

Please let me know if I can answer any more questions to help in the planning of your Aulani vacation.

    Mahalo,
