Thanks for answers. Do all the Xmas shops carry the same stuff? I am trying to decide on what shops to hit, so many choices! Should I just shop at DTD/are there spots in the parks worth hitting? Emporium & Mousegear are 2 I hear the most about.

    Hi Stacey,

My favorite place to buy ornaments and other Holiday items is at, "Disney's Days of Christmas" store at Downtown Disney. While you will often find several ornaments in the Emporium, Mousegear and other stores...you won't find nearly the selection in those stores as compared to Days of Christmas. In fact, I always schedule a special hour just to browse and choose my special ornament to commemorate each trip.

I generally schedule Downtown Disney for our last day. I save our souvenir shopping for the last day, unless we are buying something Park specific. For example, a Star Wars shirt in Hollywood Studios for my son. If you think you are going to want something specific from Epcot, you'll want to stop by Mousegear, although you can find some Epcot items at World of Disney too. We shop and also grab lunch together at one of the great restaurants. Downtown Disney has numerous wonderful stores (see: HERE) as well as fantastic restaurants (see: HERE).

Hope this helps. Enjoy your vacation and Happy Shopping!
