Thanks for all the answers Moms! I have a question regarding the MNSSHP... What is there to do? What goes on during the time, and is it a little kid thing, or all ages? I just need to know what it's all about before I pay extra money. Thanks Again!

    Hi Katie,

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events!  There is something for everyone in the family.  Storytelling, character greetings, parades, face painting -- the list goes on and on.  I've made a list of some highlights:

Trick or treat around the Magic Kingdom:  When you enter the park for the party, you'll be given a wrist band and a small bag for all of your candy.  Don't be fooled, the bags hold TONS.  Trick or Treat stations are set up throughout the park.

Ride attractions:  This is your chance to ride your favorite attractions with minimal wait time.  The crowds are small, so you'll be able to ride your favorites.

There are tons of photo opportunities and character greetings:  There are dance parties where you can get down with your favorite characters - many are dressed in Halloween costumes.  Disney villains do a special show in front of the castle.   You can even get a picture in front of Cinderella's coach.

Special Parade and Fireworks:  An evening at the Magic Kingdom isn't complete without a parade and viewing of Wishes.  Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade and the specially themed HalloWishes are both festive and fun!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
