Thanks for your answers about the cruise and spas. Next question is.... What is the Atlantis Aquaventure tour? I would love to know if that has anything to do with that beautiful hotel on the Island? Is the tour good for 9-14 year olds? Can you swim at

The Atlantis Aquaventure Tour was a wonderful day for my family. My son is 9 and he had a fantastic day enjoying the pools at Atlantis.

Our family met for the tour at a designated location on the Disney Wonder . We were escorted off of the ship where we received lunch tickets and tour bracelets and then were led to the vans waiting to whisk us over to Atlantis. It was extremely organized.

Once at the beautiful Atlantis Resort, we were met by a guide in front of Coral Towers. She led us through Atlantis pointing out where things were located, giving us towels and then leading us to an area with lounge chairs near the Baths Pool. We were then on our own for the rest of the day.

Since the resort is so expansive, we did not stay in one area the entire day. I suggest looking at the map of the resort! When our son wanted to do the Mayan Temple slides, we found lounge chairs near this location. We just kept moving to different locations and we never saw all of the outdoor pools and attractions. We did thoroughly enjoy the parts of the resort that we experienced.

We had a nice lunch from an outdoor concession stand that was included with our tour. We also walked through The Dig to admire the aquarium.

My son thought the slides at the Mayan Temple were great. He also enjoyed The Current (a fast-paced tube excursion which is much more than a lazy river experience) and the Dig.

You’ll be able to enjoy the resort’s amenities all day. There will be a van to take your family back to the ship at various intervals throughout the day. Note the meeting location prior to entering the Atlantis Resort.
