Thanks for answering my resort questions. Still traveling Feb 15-20. Will it be to cool for our girls to enjoy the pools? We are now looking at the Poly, WL and Contemp bc of location to MK. Poly is our 1st choice but the most expensive!

    Hi Kaylene!

Thanks for visiting me again! It's nice to hear from you!

February can be a tricky month to predict weather. It all depends where you're from I suppose. We live in Canada, so anything above 70F is pool weather for my kids! We were at Walt Disney World in February 2011 from Valentine's Day onward and my kids enjoyed great fun in the pool and it was quite warm and sunny!

I can't blame you for also deciding on the Polynesian as your #1 choice. It's a gorgeous property with a perfect location and it's really won a place in my heart as my ultimate favourite. I'm looking forward to a long-anticipated stay there again myself very soon... the countdown is on!

That being said, I just stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge last month for the first time. We'd visited the property many times in the past for some of our kids' favourite dining (Whispering Canyon Cafe) but hadn't stayed. I must say, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by just how quickly we all fell in love with Wilderness Lodge! We enjoyed a Courtyard View Bunkbed Room and the view was beautiful. My kids loved the pool and the boat transportation to Magic Kingdom was frequent, enjoyable and just a short ride. For the savings incurred versus my beloved Polynesian, I'd definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it!

Having now stayed at all three of the choices you mention above, I'd still consider the Polynesian my first choice, followed by Wilderness Lodge in second place and the Contemporary in third. If I'm considering a budget on my trip but wanting to stay in Deluxe accommodation, I'd book Wilderness Lodge again in a heartbeat!

If you're still torn and would like more information about these three resorts, don't hesitate to visit me again Kaylene! I'm more than happy to help you out!

Wishing you a Magical time as you plan your vacation details!
