Thanks for answering previous ? My ? is, next trip plan to take parents, both in late 60's, how do I go about making reservations, do I put on my reservation or seperate, will be staying in 2 rooms, 1st visit for them

    Annette:

    Thanks for coming back!

You'll enjoy having your parents along for the trip!  We have loved the times the grandparents have gone with our family!

You can really do either....I've found that's always simpler for me to make all the reservations, regardless of whether it was our treat or the family was going dutch.

For example, if you want to be near each other, even if you're paying separately, you can request the rooms be close to each other or even connecting.  Although they can't guarantee it, Disney does their best to fulfill requests.  But if you don't have the same room type (standard vs. preferred vs. water-view vs. Magic Kingdom view, etc). they won't be able to meet any request. If one person makes the reservations, you're more likely to get the same room type.  It just makes it simpler, in my opinion.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
