    Thanks for answering my last question so quickly!. Since we will be at WDW in Oct we'll also be able to attend the Food and Wine Festival for the first time ever. What can you tell me about it? What costs are involved?

    Hello there Patty!

    Thanks so much for coming back! I'm sorry this answer wasn't as quick as the last. I have to admit that I haven't been to The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival (IFWF). I know that's sad... But I'll be going there this October as well, so I'll have the experience then to be able to answer more questions about it...

    I did reach out to my MOMS Panel friends to get their input. Each said they really have enjoyed their time at the Festival! Their advice was to have you to visit www.disneyfoodblog.com where there's a huge section about the EPCOT IFWF. The site isn't a Disney affiliate but is done in a very professional manner and has a wealth of information!

    So without further ado, here are some of the tips for visiting the Festival from my friends:

    1. If visiting with younger children, try to go earlier in the day as the festivities and consumption tend to increase at night time (more adult atmosphere)

    2. Try to visit during the week because the festival gets more crowded on the weekends.. It's a party, people like to go out on the weekends...
     
    3. The Festival tends to be more crowded on the first and last week...

    4. As more information about this year's Festival is released, do as much research before you go as you can so that you know where you want to go prior to arriving at the park.

    5. Have a blast and enjoy all that you have time to do!
