Thanks for answer on bus question Diane - staying CBR for 12 days in Nov. - 2 GP, 2 parents & 2 gr. kids (8&5)- buses to parks was main concern. Is 45 - 60 minute travel time fairly accurate? Thanks again.

Hello Richard - thanks for writing back with your resort information.  It will help in pinpointing your transportation question to the parks.  Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR) is a very large resort which is grouped into six villages.  Each village will have its own bus stop.  All you'll need to do is head to the bus stop and wait for a bus to come along to the park (or Downtown Disney) you are heading to.  The bus will stop at all bus stops at CBR before heading out to the park.

I think allowing 45-60 minutes travel time is a good average for you. This average also includes waiting for a bus (they usually come every 15-20 minutes) and travel time to the park.  Because CBR is located in the Epcot area, travel time to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney will be less and Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom will take a few more travel minutes to get to.

When you arrive at the parks, your bus driver should tell you what number bus depot to wait at when you are ready to return.  If you are unsure, just ask your bus driver as you exit the bus.  There should also be signage and cast members at the bus depots which will help you find the right depot to wait at for your bus.

And finally, if you have a reservation for a meal at another resort, you won't be able to get there directly from your resort.  However, you can take a bus to Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Downtown Disney (the closest destinations from CBR) to change buses to the resort you are heading to.

I know this all sounds confusing but you will get used to it quickly once you experience the system.  I hope this helps and please let the panel know if you have other questions during your vacation planning.  Diane
