Thanks Andrea! The road map is very helpful! Which would you pick - Boardwalk Villa or Beach Club Villa for traveling with 2 toddlers? They both look centrally located for 2 WaterParks. AKL looks great too, but is the room very dark? Thanks

    Hello, Jessica!

Glad the map was helpful! I find it sometimes help to get something concrete to visualize when trying to get an idea of proximity. That map has been so useful dozens of times for us!

Regarding which resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas or Disney's Beach Club Villas, you can't go wrong with either one. They are a short stroll across Crescent Lake from each other, too, so both are located similarly to either water park. I really loved the pool at Stormalong Bay, however, which is for Guests at Disney's Yacht and Beach Clubs. The entire Boardwalk area is a great place to spend time at night after a day in the water park, too.

We're heading to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village later this month, though, for our fourth stay; rooms are gorgeous, the property is so beautifully themed, right down to the last detail. Nothing beats having a view of the animals on the savannah. There are windows in the hallways which look out onto savannahs, and you'll have fun just peaking out to see who's there on your way to and from your room! Plus, Uwanja Camp is a fantastic water play area which could easily occupy your little ones for an entire day. (I am not exaggerating, either. My 10-year old and his buddy spent an entire day between Uwanja Camp and the adjacent Samawati Springs pool/slide.

You've got some great choices to make here, Jessica! The good news is that you'll love all of these resorts. For a short trip, though, with a day at a water park as your goal, and your kids being toddlers?  I'd go with Kidani Village. It's further away from the other parks, but you won't be heading to the other parks, so that's not an issue. It's a resort that's a destination unto itself.

Have fun! Send more questions as you think of them, too. You know we love to help! :-)
