    Hello, Jessica! :-)

    I have looked at ordering from Garden Grocer, since so many of my friends have been happy with their delivery; however, I always order groceries directly through my Disney Vacation Club Membership, using the online grocery order form, which I then fax to Disney.

    You can, however, pick up such items as cereal, milk, orange juice, cheese, pretzels, etc., right at the store at the Contemporary. For what we order, the pricing seemed similar and I liked the idea of stocking up when we're ready (which is usually as soon as our room is ready; one of us will unpack with the kids, getting ready for the parks or pool while the other will pick up grocery items if we haven't preordered them for delivery to our room through DVC.)

    If you send a package to your own attention, it will be able to be picked up at Disney's Contemporary Resort. At check-in, simply tell the Cast Member that you've sent yourself a package, and you'll be told where to pick it up. There is no charge for holding the package;  you'll just have spent a small fee for the mailing. That's where I'd ship such items as lemonade mix, extra coffee, some zipper baggies for food storage, etc. Items that may be bulky, or that are specific to your needs (a certain brand of diapers, for example, or a toddler's favorite granola bars) are great to ship; just be sure to have a few on hand in case your package gets delayed.
