Thanks again for all of ur help! Debating now on hotel. We made res at ASM..kids like toy story, etc. but I would like something closer to parks. Looking at CBR, what can u tell me? Are we better off staying at ASM? Kids are 2,4,9.. THANKS

Hi again Michelle!!!!!  With each category you gain a few more amenities so the moderate resort, Caribbean Beach, will offer more recreation options, more and better pool themeing and slightly larger rooms.  Both resorts have two double beds so I am assuming the youngest will be in a port-a-crib and you might want as large a room as possible.

The resort themeing is quite different between the two resorts.  All Star Movies has large models of items from many of the Disney favorites such as Toy Story.  It is bright and alive with the decor.  The Caribbean Beach has a much more laid back theme where you feel like you truly are just off the beaches of an ocean island.  There is a white sandy beach, 6 pools, playgrounds, and boat rentals.  You can even try to reserve one of their special pirate themed rooms for your stay.

The approximate times to the parks are for the most part a bit shorter from the Caribbean Beach then the All Star resort.  In general you will save about 10 minutes staying in the moderate location. They are, however, about equal in time to the Animal Kingdom park.

It's a tough call.......if you aren't going to be spending much time at your resort or your room then the savings could go toward food and recreation and souvenirs.  But if you think the room is going to be a place where you want to spend time and enjoy then I say go for the moderate location.
