Thanks again! Have room only res for 1 night before switching to 8 days of MYW. For the 1 night room only res, torn bw coronado or PO-R. Have 2 yo boy. Get in mid afternoon. Which resort has more to explore/do before starting at the parks the next day?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another great question!

If I understand your question correctly, you’re trying to decide between staying at either Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for one night before changing Resorts for an 8-night stay with a Magic Your Way Vacation Package.

Although I love both Resorts, I would definitely choose Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for your one-night stay. Your little guy will absolutely love the Dig Site Pool and you've got many more dining options to choose from during your stay, especially the Pepper Market, which is a cut above your typical quick service location, especially if you like Latin American food. It’s a colourful and vibrant Resort that I think you might really enjoy your night there. Because you’re staying for only one night, I would recommend spending a bit more money in order to get a Preferred Room or a Business Class room in order to make sure you’re close to all of the Resort’s amenities.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
