Hi, Thanks for your advise!! We are staying at the Riverside- after checking in we have a 4pm din. How do we get to Downtown Disney from the hotel and how much time should we plan for travel. Thanks

    Hi Meredith!

We absolutely LOVE Port Orleans-Riverside!  It is our favorite Moderate Resort, and we have called it home many-a-vacation.

You have a couple of options for travel between Port Orleans-Riverside and Downtown Disney.

First is Disney Transportation.  You can just hop on a bus for Downtown Disney.  You should be there in about 15 minutes.

The second option is the Sassagoula River Cruise Ferry Boat Service, which departs from the dock at the main building.  We LOVE to take the boat, and enjoy the leisurely 25-30 minute cruise.

Either way, you'll be able to easily access Downtown Disney.  I'd plan on heading to the bus stop (or the dock) about 45 minutes to and hour before your 4 pm reservation.

    Have a magical vacation!
