Thanks for all your advice! One more question...for the Holidays Dessert Party would you choose Plaza viewing or Tomorrowland Terrace view? Why is Plaza viewing is less expensive?

    Hi Maite ~

I love the Fireworks Dessert Parties! You get a fantastic view of Cinderella Castle without having to seek out a good spot hours before the show. I did the Fireworks Dessert Party with the Terrace View a few weeks ago and spent time talking with a Cast Member about the differences between the two viewing locations (Plaza v. Terrace). He walked me through both locations and explained the differences to me.

Guests who book the Terrace View are seated in a private area at the front of the Tomorrowland Terrace. There are reserved tables so that everyone in your party has a place to sit together. You're welcome to move chairs around to get a good view of the fireworks.

Guests who book the Plaza View are seated in a separate area near the back of the Tomorrowland Terrace. There are tables and chairs but they are not reserved. You can sit anywhere and may end up sitting with other Guests. Guests with Plaza Viewing can check in a few minutes earlier. They accept more reservations for Plaza Viewing than Terrace Viewing. About 10 - 15 minutes prior to the fireworks, Guests with Plaza Viewing are escorted to the garden area near the Tomorrowland Terrace behind the hub. This area is all standing with no seating.

The desserts and beverages are exactly the same for both parties.

I would decide which to book based on my travel party. With little ones, Terrace View gives them a better view with no one standing in front of them and more room. This is helpful when they are tired at the end of the day. This is also better for Guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. However, the projections on Cinderella Castle are a little blocked by some of the trees near the Tomorrowland Terrace. If I'm traveling with all adults, I'd opt for the Plaza View.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
