Hi, Audrey!
It sounds like you decided on the Grand Floridian! I think you will be happy with your decision. This resort is absolutely beautiful and perfect for families.
While I have never used the babysitting services, you have a few options. First is heading over to the Polynesian to the
Never Land Club. Here, your princesses can enjoy an evening of fun while mom and dad can go out for a nice dinner. The wonderful cast members even feed your kids, so one less meal to worry about! You will be charged by the hour for the service. Reservations can be made by calling (407)WDW-DINE. Your other babysitting option is Kids Nite Out, a company that will send you a private babysitter just for your kids. They will play games, take them to dinner, put them to bed, whatever you request. The Perfectly Princess Tea Party is adorable! The little girls all dress up in their royal finest and enjoy snacks while singing their favorite Disney songs. Sleeping Beauty even pops in to say hello! Your girls will each leave with great gifts: a My Disney Girl doll, a tiara, and more. All this does not come cheap: One adult and one child costs about $250, and your additional child would be another $165 (prices subject to change). Because of the cost, we never did it. We opted to enjoy a meal at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall where we could meet several princesses and have a full meal for less money. However, if the price does not bother you, it is an event to remember!
I hope this helps you out! I will be happy to answer any other questions you might come up with so keep me posted on your plans!
