So thankful for Panel! 1st trip that we'll have to bring a baby bag with us. Any thoughts on type of bag & what to do with it during rides? Also we will have insulated bag with Son's diabetes supplies-insulin pens, meter & other supplies. Thoughts?

The Moms Panel is so thankful for you! We hope to help your first trip so magical for your family that you will understand why the members of the Moms Panel love Walt Disney World.

All attractions have a space for your bag under the seat or on the seatback in front of you. My problem is my backpack has to be large enough to carry a camera, phones, Mickey ears, unfinished Diet Cokes, and other paraphernalia for a family of six. You seem to have a similar issue! I have never had any problem just putting my pack under my legs on an attraction but you might want to consider two bags. One diaper bag for bulky, not so valuable items such as diapers, bottles, and suntan lotion that you can leave on your stroller and a second smaller bag for your phone, insulin, and other not easily replaceable belongings to take with you on rides.

Do keep juice or a snack with you at all times. Standing in the middle of a line to board Space Mountain with a family member whose glucose levels are crashing with nothing on hand to raise blood sugar level is not a pretty situation. The extra walking, eating meals on a different schedule, and being distracted by so much fun can cause your son's glucose levels to drop without him realizing so be aware.

Amy please continue to ask questions. I hope your first trip to Walt Disney World is amazing and wonderful.
