Thank you for all of the wonderful information on this site! We have booked our trip to Disney World from Sept. 8th checking out on Sept. 18th. Can we book a dinner for the 18th on our Dining Plan or does the Dining plan run out at the time of check out?

You certainly can book a dinner reservation for the 18th.  Your dining credits will not expire until midnight on the day you check out.  And don't worry, I've tested this theory :).  After checking out of our resort during our last trip we visited Downtown Disney for some last minute souvenir shopping.  We used the last of our dining plan credits to eat lunch and buy some snacks for the long plane ride home.  Even though we had already checked out, we had no problems using our Key to the World cards to "charge" our purchases to.

    Have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
