Thank you for your wonderful advice to my previous questions! Myself, my DH and 11yr old DS are going to WDW in Dec this year to the Beach Club and will be on the Disney dining plan. Can you please recommend a restaurant for a memorable Christmas day?

    Hi there, Theresa!

It truly warms my heart to know that you're finding helpful advice right here on the Moms Panel! That's what we're here for and we certainly love to help you make your vacation to Walt Disney World as magical as it can be!

Disney's Beach Club Resort happens to be one of my very favorite Resort hotels to visit during the Christmas season. The Pastry Chefs make some pretty special life-sized gingerbread treats that fill the lobby with the smell of the season. In the previous years, I've seen a gorgeous carousel! You'll really love it!

As for dinner, I'm going to recommend the absolutely fantastic Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet at the Cape May Cafe right there at your Resort. My family had dinner there for the first time last month, and even though two out of nine of us are not huge seafood fans, there was something delicious for each one of us in the entire party! I think that on Christmas Day, it would be really fun for you and your family to take it easy and just enjoy the atmosphere of your Resort. You could also walk over to Disney's Yacht Club [right next door] and around to Disney's Boardwalk Inn! They've got different and fabulous decorations at each one of the Resorts! The Christmas trees are a sight to behold!

Now, you could completely change that up if you have a certain Park in mind to spend the day in. You'd definitely want to make it an early morning in that case, especially if you're thinking about spending the day at Magic Kingdom Park. That's one of the most busy days of the year at the Magic Kingdom, and if you decide to play there, I would recommend having dinner at the California Grill, which is just a quick monorail ride away at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I sure hope hope I've given you a couple ideas to think about. I'm all out of room for my answer, so if you'd like some more ideas, please feel free to write back in!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
