Thank you Thank you Thank you Panel! 2nd trip 2/11-2/18, last was Christmas-New Years and hoping for a lot smaller crowd but touringplans calendar is giving me mostly 5's. How different will it be? I'm starting to get nervous that it will still be crowded.

    Hi Saron,

The week between Christmas and New Year's is generally VERY crowded!  The holiday season, in general, is a popular time to travel to Disney.  The lights, decorations and special events make this time of year extra magical!

Having said that, I don't think the parks will be nearly as crowded during your vacation this year as they were last year.  A lot of schools will still be in session, so that will keep the crowds down, somewhat.  A five rating on touring plans is MUCH better than an 8-10 rating that you probably experienced last year.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
