Thank you . Thank you, Thank you for answering my questions. I was so overwhelmed. Disney is so much more than it was when I was there 12 or more years ago. One last one and then I am done. ( I hope). what do you reccomend as a good steak rest for all?

    Melissa,

Hi again!  You're absolutely right - Disney HAS grown a lot since your last trip there.   I'm more than happy to try and help answer any question that may come up.  All of the mom's on the panel want you to have the best vacation possible!

As far as recommending a good steak restaurant, I don't eat steak, so my judgement would be horrible.  However, I enlisted the help of the other panelists, and I trust their recommendations wholeheartedly.

Topping the list was Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The menu offers a variety of dishes, but one of the most popular items is the Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon served with macaroni & cheese.  Everyone I know gives this dish rave reviews, and I can tell you that the macaroni & cheese is delicious.

Another popular choice is Le Cellier located in Epcot's Canada Pavilion.  The Mushroom Filet Mignon came in a very close second to Jiko's, and after dinner you can view Illuminations.

Finally, the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club was another favorite.  If you choose to dine here, be sure to save some room and head over to Beaches and Cream for dessert!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
