Welcome back, Bobbie!
So glad you followed up with your cruise information so I could give you the answer you deserve. Just like you, I will be cruising from Miami on the Disney Dream in 2022. I’ve never sailed from Miami before, so I’m actually quite excited about it.
As far as live shows, currently the 3 and 4-night sailings are only featuring one Broadway-caliber musical on multiple nights so all Guests have a chance to see it. What this means is that your 5-night voyage will have all three shows. So you can look forward to seeing
Beauty and the Beast,
The Golden Mickeys, and
Disney’s Believe.
Since you will be doing a 5-night Western Caribbean voyage and not a specialty cruise, I believe that your only themed night will be Pirate Night. But with a cruise this length, you can anticipate three cruise casual nights, Pirate Night and one semi-formal night. I’ve seen men sport suits and ties and cocktail dresses and even gowns for women on this semi-formal night, but it’s also perfectly acceptable to go with cruise casual, too.
Since onboard entertainment is always subject to change, be sure to rely on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The reminder feature is super helpful in making sure we're on time for all the activities. Plus, I like using the app to look up all the menus for each night so I can plan what dishes I want to order ahead of time.
Bobbie, I feel so much better now that we were able to chat again about your Disney cruise. If you think of anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out. Wishing you lots of magical memories with your family on your DREAM vacation!
SEA ya real soon!
Sherry
