Aloha, Amanda! Welina Hou (Welcome back) to planDisney! It's always so great to see you here with another fantastic question, hoaloha (friend)!
Are you getting excited, Amanda?! I know you must be! The countdown is dwindling, and your adventure to the world's most magical pixie-dusted paradise is just around the riverbend. One of the things that make
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa so incredible is the seemingly endless list of
Resort activities for kids and kids at heart. I'm so happy to hear that you and your daughter plan on participating in the "
Learn to Play the 'Ukulele" activity that is included in your stay, and I'm thrilled to hear that your daughter plans to continue making magical music after her vacation!
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member at Aulani who informed me that the prices of the 'ukuleles available for purchase after your lessons vary, depending on the type of 'ukulele you wish to purchase, and while prices are subject to change, they begin at $48. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can also receive a DVC discount on your purchase. Membership magic!
As your vacation approaches, keep an eye on the
Daily Iwa: Aulani Resort Activities Calendar for the dates and times of this awesome activity. Right now, sign-ups for "Learn How to Play the 'Ukulele" begin at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the class at the Pau Hana Room. Since this activity is such an incredible experience and complimentary, it is very popular, so I suggest arriving before 8 a.m. to secure your spot in one of the classes. I also recommend signing up for a class early in your trip. That way, if your daughter really loves it, she can sign up for another class to perfect her new skills playing her new magical musical instrument!
I hope this helps you to budget and tie up your loose planning ends, Amanda! As always, it has been a pleasure chatting with you, and I hope you and your family have the time of your lives on your upcoming tropical adventure. You know that you are always welcome here at planDisney, friend, so stop by any time! We are 'ohana now!
'Ohana means family,
Mandy
