    Hi moms! Thank you this panel is so helpful! 1st trip to WDW! Staying at Poly late Jan/early Feb. How late the pools are open at the poly? & how early they open in the morning? & if we arrive early in the am can we swim if our room isn't ready yet?

    Hi Kate!

    Congratulations on your fast-approaching, First Trip to Walt Disney World!
    You've chosen a spectacular location to stay for your first visit - Disney's Polynesian Resort is my personal favourite! The location, atmosphere, dining options ... as Mary Poppins would say, it's 'practically perfect in every way!'

    If you're arriving at the resort prior to check-in hours, you certainly may make use of the Polynesian's recreational activities as you wish! Be sure to pack your carry-on bags accordingly with your swim suits, so you have them easily accessible to you. Towels are available poolside.

    The 'Nanea Volcano Pool' feature pool area is open from 7am - 11pm daily. The nearby "quiet" pool operates under the same hours.

    Keep in mind that although your room may not be ready upon arrival, you may certainly process your check-in, and receive your Key to the World Cards (your room key, park tickets, charging privileges and dining plan - if applicable) upon arrival at the Resort.
