Thank you panel for all your help. Only 17 days to go, SO excited. Is the Star Wars Jedi Academy a current attraction? My dd is a fanatic and I don't want her getting her hopes up if it is no longer there.

The Jedi Training Academy is a daily show that takes place at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Currently the shows run throughout the day. The first show takes place at 9:55 a.m.

My advice is to be at this first show and arrive early. Ask a Cast Member where to stand. Tell your daughter to show lots of enthusiasm. Wearing an item such as a hat or sunglasses that makes your child stand out in the crowd is helpful. It gives the Jedi Master a way to choose a child that distinguishes him/her from the crowd. Just imagine if the Jedi Master said "you with the Mickey Ears" and ten children headed towards the stage!

If your daughter is not selected as a Jedi Apprentice at this first show, simply look at your Times Guide for show times throughout the day. I know that our family was fully prepared to have to return to several shows if needed. Some guests would deem this a waste of time but I think WDW is about making dreams come true. If your daughter dreams of facing Darth Vader in a lightsaber battle, then by all means, attend the shows until she is chosen!

For Star Wars fans, the show itself is lots of fun. You'll see storm troopers and hear some familiar music!
