Thank you Lori for answering my question about Hoop Dee Doo. I don't doubt the ribs are good, but we don't eat pork or beef. That being said can bacon or other pork products be substituted at TS breakfast? I know buffets usually have chicken sausage.

    Hi Cartier!

    Welcome back to the panel!

I completely understand your situation.  My husband has been eating a vegan diet for about a year now, and last week was our first Walt Disney World trip since he began eating this way.  I was worried that it would affect all of our meals, but we were very pleasantly surprised!  Walt Disney World chefs and servers are very accommodating.  Dietary restrictions and preferences are common with guests and they will go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your meal.

When you are seated at your table-service breakfast, go ahead and let your waiter/waitress know about your eating restrictions.  They may even bring the chef out to your table to talk more about it.  If it's a simple substitution of pork products, then your server will be able to pass that along to the kitchen.  No worries! Each restaurant will have their own version of substitutions, but I have had turkey bacon in place of pork bacon on numerous occasions.

Just don't be afraid to ask!  This is your vacation and Disney wants it to be as magical as possible.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
