Thank you for your last response - another question, how hard is it to get to Downtown Disney, The Boardwalk, and other areas from The Contemporary - will dinner reservations at other locations be difficult with a 1 and 5 year old? Thanks so much

Hi again Erika! I love to hear back from guests so thank you for sending your question my way.

Getting to a restaurant at Walt Disney World with two little ones is definitely more fun than going out to eat in your everyday life. Kids enjoy the buses and monorails much more than riding in their car seats in a minivan.

Downtown Disney is only a bus ride away from Disney's Contemporary Resort. Catch the bus to DD in the same spot bus service to the parks is offered. To travel to Disney's Boardwalk area walk over to the Magic Kingdom and hop a bus to Disney's Boardwalk Resort. Thanks to your hotel's close location to the Magic Kingdom you can simply stroll over to the park and catch a bus to any resort on Walt Disney World property with ease so feel free to make dinner reservations at any restaurant you choose. Spots such as 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort or 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort are accessible by monorail.

Please contact me again if you have more questions. I want your trip to WDW to be as magical as possible!
