Hello again Moira,
This
My Disney Experience Mobile App question provided me with quite the conundrum and it took me a wee while to figure out, but nothing could stand in the way of me accessing the little slice of Disney magic contained within my iPhone!
So I could understand the issue better I deleted
My Disney Experience Mobile App from my own iPhone and that's where the fun began...
As you'll know only too well, when I tried to re-install the App - up popped the message
'not currently available in the UK Store'. And here's how I over came it -
Sign in to your Apple ID Account
Click on your name to access the drop down menu
Click on - Account Info
(you'll need to sign in again at this point)
In the Apple ID Summary change your Country/Region to the
USA then continue to follow all the prompts to complete the change; which is rather tricky!
When the change is complete you should be able to finally go ahead and download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App from the US Apple App Store.
It may also be helpful for you to know that after successfully re-installing the App (which thankfully still contained all my Disney Account information) I signed back into my Apple ID and changed the Country once again to the UK with no ill effects to the App at all; after which I put the kettle on and made myself a celebratory cup of tea.
As I mentioned before, it's possible to speak with Cast Members who have much better technical knowledge than I by calling
free from the UK on 0800 16 90 749.
Have a great Disney day.
