Hello, Deborah. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
The
Disney Dining Plan can be a great tool for saving money and thoroughly enjoying restaurants while on vacation at
Walt Disney World. It's so nice having everything paid for ahead of time and not having to look at prices. If you want the most expensive thing on the menu - sure! It really helps keep the vacation mode going.
There are 3 types of Disney Dining Plans to choose from:
- Disney Quick Service Dining Plan
- Disney Dining Plan
- Disney Deluxe Dining Plan
On each of these plans, each meal credit also comes with 1 alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older. Which means when you are dining at
Table Service Restaurants during your Walt Disney World vacation you are entitled to one glass of wine, beer or specialty cocktail with your meal. Some restaurants limit the price value on this for wine by the glass and specialty cocktails but that is far and few between. I find that each restaurant has a wide range to choose from and I am always happy with the options. Keep in mind cocktails in souvenir glasses are not eligible on the Disney Dining Plan.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask. Cheers!
