    THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP! another question, i see disney has said that LM and BOG will be opening holiday season 2012. we are visiting 9/26-10/6. typically how far in advance does disney run "soft openings"? thanks again!!!

    Soft launches, especially for restaurants, really vary. They could last for weeks, or take only days. There is simply no way of knowing.

    I have not read of any official launch dates, either formal launch or soft launch. But if, in fact, they launch in the holiday season, I doubt that they will be in any form of launch as early as the time of your visit.

    But let's talk about what you can do.

    1. I would recommend that you call Disney Dining every couple of weeks to see if anything has been announced. You just never know, and you might get lucky.
    2. When you are at Walt Disney World, any time that you enter the Magic Kingdom ask a cast member if they have any soft launches that day. They will be looking for volunteers, and it might as well be you!
