Thank you for all of your help leading up to our trip this month! I'm ready to go back already! My next plan is to visit during Star Wars Weekends, so what is your advice for getting the most out of those very crowded days?

    Hi Shannan!

My son and I went to our first Star Wars Weekends in May of 2010 and we absolutely loved it. I would recommend that you go to Hollywood Studios during the week to experience the normal attractions and then go on Friday to experience all that Star Wars Weekends has to offer.  By doing this you can concentrate on the unique experiences that only happen during Star Wars Weekends. Typically during Star Wars Weekends, Fridays are the least busy of the three days during the weekend. There will be people arriving for Star Wars Weekends very early in the morning and sometimes even the night before, but I would recommend that you arrive to Hollywood Studios at least an hour before the Park is scheduled to open for that particular day. If you get to Hollywood Studios early, then you will get to see the Storm Troopers put on a show on the roof of the ticket gates (trust me this amazing show is not to be missed).

As far as what not to miss, I would recommend that you see the Star Wars Parade and don't miss the Hyperspace Hoopla in the evening. Also have fun with the Star Wars Characters that are walking around all throughout the day and special Character photo opportunities throughout the Park. There will be special celebrity signings, special shows and discussions, and Star Wars merchandise. I think that the hardest part will be picking what you want to do and you may want to spend more than one day enjoying Star Wars Weekends in Hollywood Studios!

May the Force be with you as you discover Star Wars Weekends in Hollywood Studios!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
