Hi there! Thank you so much for the help! My best friend suffers from anxiety. Is it possible she brings her Emotional Support Dog to DLR & DCA? And where can she ask about the DAS card. Shes got all her doctor information.

Hi there Jessica, and welcome back to planDisney! It's great to see you again with another excellent question, and I'd be happy to assist you today.

It's so sweet of you to look out for your friend; you're like her very own Fairy Godmother helping her prepare for the ball! Disneyland Resort works hard to meet the needs of all Guests, and for this reason, service animals are permitted in most locations throughout the theme parks, Downtown Disney District, and resort hotels. At the Disneyland Resort, a service animal is defined as any dog or miniature horse trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, so if the furry friend meets the qualifications, he or she is welcome to come along. Be sure to review the rules and restrictions for service animals and locate the relief areas before your visit.

Any Guest who has difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to disability is welcome to take advantage of Disability Access Service, and there is no need to provide a doctor's note or proof of medical condition. At this time, your friend will need to stop by a Guest Relations window or Guest Information kiosk and register in person for Disability Access Service

In Disneyland Park, she can visit any of these locations:
City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A.
Central Plaza Information Board near Plaza Inn
Fantasyland, next to Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    Tomorrowland, next to Star Trader
New Orleans Square, next to the Haunted Mansion exit
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge near the portal to Frontierland

In Disney California Adventure Park, stop by:
Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street
Information Station on Buena Vista Street
Cars Land, at the entrance to the land
Pixar Pier, near Jessie’s Critter Carousel

Later this fall, a new option to register virtually with a Cast Member via live video chat in advance of a park visit will be introduced. Stay tuned to this page and the Disney Parks Blog for updates to the program.

I hope this is helpful, Jessica, and that you and your friend have a fantastic fall getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth. Thanks again for coming back to visit us, and we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
