Thank you for giving me wonderful ideason making my daughter's first stay a magical princess one. Do you know if Disney usually have some good specials for October stays? Art of Animation is excluded from the current free dining plan in Sept.

    Hi Danielle!

I'm so glad that you found my recommendations helpful for your little Princess!
Thanks so much for visiting me again, and for telling me so!

Disney offers great deals throughout the year. Sometimes they are offered "last-minute" and sometimes they are offered very early in the year with plenty of time to reserve them in advance. Though you may be able to find some 'trending' over the years by Googling this subject online, it won't necessarily be the timing that Special Offers come out this particular year.

My best advice is to be sure to have the resort and dates you want, on a budget you are pleased with, reserved well in advance. That way, you won't be disappointed if an offer doesn't come along that you're able to take advantage of and you'll be ensured just the vacation you were hoping for.

In the meantime, check the local paper, tv commercials and your email for new special offers, as well as the Disney World website's Special Offers section. If an offer comes out for your planned vacation time, simply call in at (407) 939-7675 and request that availability be checked for you for the "Such-and-Such" offer, quoting the offer by name or code (if applicable). If the offer is available for your resort, the Cast Member will be able to reserve the new offer for you and transfer any payments already made to your old reservation over to the new one. If your resort isn't available under the offer, ask which one(s) are available. You may find that even if you aren't able to 'save' money on a new offer, you may be able to get more for the price you were already paying. For example I once tried to apply a Buy 4 nights Get 3 Free offer to an existing reso, but my 'moderate' resort was sold out. For a very small amount I was instead able to move to a Deluxe Resort with the Offer - which was amazing!

    Thanks for visiting again Danielle.
Wishing you a Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation!
