thank you forrespondig to my question about my mom who lives in florida joining us, suggesting addig flights later, she is included in tickets, etc. WIll she be able to check in even if i am paying for the reservations on my card before i get there.

Hi again Kim...I'm so glad to help you with all your planning and questions.

Your mother should have no difficulty in checking into the room as long as her name is on the reservation. She will likely have to show and put a credit card down and it will be very important for her to tell them that this is NOT the card to be used to pay for the room. They need to use this card to HOLD until the payment card is given them by you. You do this so they will not turn around and hit her card with the amount due. She needs to tell them that you will be arriving shortly or a specific time and that you will then change the card and that will be the one used to pay for the room. We have done this and it works much better then having your mom use her card, Disney charge that card, then needing to credit her card and charge yours. As you can see it can be done but it gets more complicated.

It really is very easy although it can sound confusing. We do this many times with our kids reservations by adding one of our names so we can get into the room and decorate or put food away for them. My family doesn't like to waste time.....they hit the property running!
