Thank you - you have been fantsatic! As a Canadian, I am soo nervous we may fail our antigen screen test before our flight. What is the Disney's cancellation policy on our already purchased package (paid in full) if this happens?

Greetings, Blair, thank you for consulting me, this is a huge honour!

Blair, I completely understand your great concerns and trepidation about failing the Antigen Test before your flight, so please exercise great vigilance before your flight. And, during your visit, while current Walt Disney World Resort Health and Safety Measures in place for vaccinated people have relaxed slightly, I would still maintain the wearing of my mask at any indoor attraction queue, during an attraction experience, and in any indoor dining venue.

Depending on the type of Walt Disney World Resort booking or vacation package you may have will generally determine the outcome. Your vacation package or room booking confirmation should stipulate the conditions of travel and for any interruptions. Typically, Guests will be asked to use the value of a vacation towards a future visit, but I say this with great reserve, and I do not want to steer you in the wrong direction. I do know from personal experience that Guest Services will work with you, especially during these unprecedented times. I recently had to cancel a runDisney event and I was extremely satisfied with the result of my matter. I know that contacting Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Reservations by telephone can be a long wait, so I would recommend trying to call in the evening hours. As well, with my recent experience, I emailed Guest Services (look for the email button on the right-hand side on the Help Center page) with all details of my matter, and things were dealt with efficiently and to my satisfaction.

Another idea, Blair, I don’t know how you paid for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, but if you used a credit card, depending on the type of credit card and its’ protections for travel-related interruptions, you may possibly be covered.

Your trip is so soon, so stay safe and be vigilant and please try not to worry, I am sure that all will be well - it’s time to be excited as you will be passing under that coveted entrance sign - The Place Where Dreams Come True very soon!

Thank you ever so kindly for reaching out to me, I wish you all the most magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!

Best Disney Wishes from your Canadian Disney pal ~ Jacqueline
