Thank you for educating me on the passenger dropoff area. I would also like to know if I am allowed to pick up my 12 passengers at the front gate of the park at end of day when they are done with the park and ready to go back to the hotel?

    Hi there, Wilson!

I'm so happy to see you back again so soon! Get ready to channel your inner Lightning McQueen because you'll want to race to the theme parks after hearing the good news ahead. (Just be sure to drive below the speed limit.)

Mostly, the pick-up process at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks will work just like the drop-off. You'll want to make your way to the parking toll booth again (even if you've parked first because it may prove to be challenging to get to the drop-off/pick-up area from your parking space). Then tell the Cast Member at the booth that you are picking up Guests. From there, drive to the area like you did earlier that day.

Although I have never dropped off or picked up anyone from the theme parks, I can imagine that it would be helpful to other Guests that everyone in your party is ready to hop into the van before you arrive. So, before you walk to the van, make sure everyone is in place for when you loop around. This will make the process a lot smoother.

Did you know that there is a Car Locator tool in the My Disney Experience app to help locate your vehicle when you're ready to leave? When you park earlier that day, enter the row number and area that you're in. Then check back later to easily pinpoint your spot. Before this feature existed, sometimes I'd circle the parking lot for minutes on end. Although I'm sure our pal Tow Mater could give us a hand, having this tool is so much easier.

AN EXTRA GEM: While visiting Radiator Springs may not be an option on the east coast, consider checking out Disney Springs if you all are looking for something fun to do after your theme park days. It's one of my favorite places to take it easy with my family and friends. Some of our go-to places to visit there are the World of Disney store, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' restaurant, and the Coca-Cola Store.

If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, please don't hesitate to give us a holler here at planDisney, Wilson. Have the BEST time with your pit crew! Ka-Chow!

    Magic always,
