Hi, Diane!
You sound like me! After a day in the parks, I do not want to walk one extra step! The Little Mermaid section of Art of Animation is the one that will be the longest walk. These are the standard rooms.
As for the Family Suites, each of the 3 themes is right around Animation Hall where you will find the food court, bus stop, and lobby. If you click
HERE you can see the resort map. The only building I would probably avoid would be Cars building #2 just because of distance.
I would suggest choosing your theme, then when doing online check-in you request to be close to transportation. I always request a first floor room to avoid any stairs or elevators, but some prefer upper levels as these tend to be a bit quieter.
If you have a car, I would request Lion King building #10 or Cars building #1. If you want to be in the center of the action, request Nemo buildings #4 or #5 as these are near the pool.
So many decisions! Take a look at that map and see what looks good to you! If I were booking, I would request Cars building #1. I like that I will be near the Cozy Cone Pool, and just a short walk to the main pool or Animation Hall, and enough out of the hustle and bustle so it should be a little quieter (plus I love the Cars theme!) But, it is up to you. Keep me posted and let me know if you have any other questions!
