Hi there, Rocky! Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so glad you followed up! I apologize for misunderstanding your question the first time around. I'd love to dive right in and explain how the reservation process works!
The short answer is no. Purchasing a
park ticket doesn't automatically create a theme park reservation for you. However, if you're purchasing a standard theme park ticket through the Disneyland website or the
Disneyland app, the process makes it easy to complete both at the same time.
When you begin purchasing your tickets, you'll first select your ticket type, the number of tickets you need, and the number of days you plan to visit. As you move through the purchase process, you'll then be prompted to select the date or dates you'd like to visit the parks. That's the step where you'll make your theme park reservation before completing your purchase.
So while buying a ticket doesn't automatically create a reservation for you, the purchase process walks you through making one before you check out, helping ensure you're all set for your magical visit.
Rocky, thank you so much for stopping by
planDisney again! I hope this helps clear things up. If any other questions pop up while you're planning your Disneyland adventure, planDisney is always happy to help.
