Thank you, Bernie E. for the info. Someone on a chat forum had mentioned a big tip at BBB because her kids were so thrilled. HBS is Harmony Barber Shop where our grandgirls will also be visiting. I know 'the Magic' will be a thrill for them.

    Hi Holly!

Thank you for sending me this and for telling me what HBS stood for!  I love the Harmony Barber Shop, but I don't think I would have ever figured it out!

I understand what you mean about tipping.  I was recently talking with an employee from the Disney Institute.  One of the things he does when he's not teaching classes about how Disney does things is to give the Backstage Magic tour; he likes doing it as a "break" from his normal activities.  He pointed out that he is not allowed to take tips at the end of what is typically an 8 hour tour.  He has been instructed to tell guests "no thank you, that's not necessary" if guests try to tip him.  If guests insist, however, then he's supposed to take the tip and thank the guest; then he turns the tip in when he gets back to the Disney Institute.  I found the whole conversation really interesting and it gives you some insight into how important Disney guests are to Disney Cast Member.

Have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World, and please send me any more trip planning questions that you may have!
