Thank you Bernie for answering the 1st ? I dont like florida heat either...lol My 2nd ? is I want to stay at a moderate resort and my best friend thinks we should do a value resort. Which would you choose and out of the categories which resort is the best?

    Hi Roxanne!

Thanks for writing back!  My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century and my favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  Pop Century has the best bus service and food court out of any resort at Walt Disney World, though I'm not a huge fan of its theme.  Port Orleans Riverside is a great place and where I take my family when we don't want to splurge on a Deluxe Resort.

If you are not going to be spending much time at your hotel, then it really doesn't matter.  Both are nice resorts.  However, if you are going to be doing something at your hotel besides sleeping, then I would definitely go with Port Orleans Riverside.  It has a lot more to offer.  For example, the pool is much larger with a very nice and long water slide (Value Resorts don't have water slides).  You can also rent boats, bicycles, and even take a boat, instead of a bus, to Downtown Disney.  The boat ride to Downtown Disney is very nice and relaxing, especially at night.  The resort even offers carriage rides!  There's also a full service restaurant at Port Orleans Riverside.

It's a hard decision!  Good luck and write back if you have any more questions!
