Thank u for answering my ?.. I have another! We r staying @ ASM & I heard they share buses & it gets crowded. We have 3 kids & need a double stroller, will it be hard to travel w/ it on buses? Should we have chosen a dif resort? Coming in early

Michele, the All Star resorts do share a bus line.  Although I have never used this I have heard they can get crowded.  But I also know that Disney will put more buses on this route then others because of the numbers so hopefully if a bus fills another will follow close behind.  Even at a deluxe resort you can run into crowded buses or those that are full and have to pass you by.  This most likely happens during busy holiday times.  Other resorts have easier transportation but mostly because there are options to get to some of the parks.  The deluxe resorts often have monorail, boat or walking access to a park.  Port Orleans has boat transportation to Downtown Disney.

Now to discuss the stroller!  When traveling on a Disney bus you will be required to completely fold up any stroller you are using. Obviously the double ones are a little more difficult to handle so it is wise for you to fold it before the bus arrives to save time.  The drivers are not trying to be difficult as this is a Florida law and they are not allowed to move a bus unless all is secure.  I have seen many unhappy parents trying to handle children, packages they have stored in the stroller, and trying to fold the thing all while being very angry at the bus driver.  Unfortunately they did not understand the situation and law.

As long as you are aware of the possible challenges you will be fine.  Give yourself plenty of time to get from one place to the next or to get to a dining reservation.  Relax and enjoy the magic that will come your way!
