Hello Majida,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank YOU for asking us so many great questions!
Based on my experience, you don’t need to have a valid
Special Event Ticket associated with your My Disney Experience account in order to make dining reservations at Magic Kingdom Park during events such as
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. You will, however, need to have a valid Party ticket for that night in order to dine in the Park, regardless of whether you’ve already made a dining reservation.
I’ve found that many of Magic Kingdom Park’s table-service and quick-service restaurants stay open during the Party, including
Cinderella’s Royal Table and
Be Our Guest Restaurant. Because of the limited number of tickets sold for these events, it can sometimes (but not always) be easier to get a reservation at some of these highly sought-after restaurants, especially 24-48 hours prior to the event when several Guests cancel their
dining reservations after deciding not to purchase Party tickets.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
