Hi Stafaine! Thanks for reaching out to me!
Fashion and comfort in Disney Parks falls all over the place. I tend to think about the weather, and dress in layers which helps as days warm up and cool off. You can usually find me in athletic shorts and a pair of Crocs due to their quick drying materials but also because they're comfy. While I wouldn't necessarily call myself fashionable (fashionably late, absolutely), I have noticed these trends in the last few years:
~Artisan shirts and gear. This ranges in shirts that name each family member Mouseketeer-style to homemade ear headbands. There are so many amazing small business crafters who design their wares after beloved attractions, movies, and even snack foods. I'm a sucker for anything that can incorporate a monogram into the silhouette of my favorite character.
~Cute yet functional athletic wear. There is a whole line of Disney-inspired running skirts that pair well with everything from running shoes with a fleece pullover to flats with a cardigan. The materials are usually lightweight, and are designed to move easily and stay dry.
~ShopDisney has everything from
casual tops to these more
dapper duds.
~Lastly, have you heard of
Disney Bound? Guests subtly create an outfit from regular clothing items to resemble a favorite character. It's really fun to put together, and even more fun when other guests figure you out.
I know you'll look great as you stroll down Main Street U.S.A., Stafaine, and we'll see you real soon!
