Thank you for answering my question., since the Christmas parade will happen after all the parties are over, will the special characters come out that do during the party? What about hot chocolate and cookies? Is all that only for the MVMCP ?

Hi Megan! I am not sure exactly what your question is but will try to explain about the holidays in the Magic Kingdom.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is held each year beginning in November and up until just before Christmas. There is a holiday parade each night with the hot cocoa and cookies offered at various points in the park. Once this special event party is finished for the season you will see the holiday parade in the park each night. They stop the party before the actual Christmas date as the parks become more crowded and they need to keep the Magic Kingdom open late for regular guests. But just because the party ends doesn't mean Christmas spirit ends as things continue with the special parade. The cookies and cocoa stations are no longer available during regular park hours. Characters will be coming and going for photo and autograph opportunities just as they do during regular park hours but which ones will constantly change and not all of them from the parade are there for this kind of meet and greet. You will need to check the Times Guide for a listing of characters in the park on that specific day.

I love spending time in the Magic Kingdom over the holidays...it is such a magical feel and you will get that no matter if you are there during a MVMCP or just during regular park hours!
